Cold and Kids

So my daughter leaves her coat in the car, even when it seems cold. Now, I don't see it as a huge deal, I'm wearing a sweater or no jacket, and she takes it out in the car seat, then sometimes leaves it in the car to go into school.  10 steps from door to door, so why do I feel guilty?
     She's not cold.
I'm dressed the same and I'm not cold.
Must be because other moms think she is. The slight judgement they make affects me and my decisions. Here's some basic truths that also affect my decision:
   1. She is a furnace! I don't think she gets cold, and I often fight to keep her covered at night
   2. We live in a cold environment, so it doesn't feel that bad (really -5C doesn't need a coat)
   3. Cold air can be GOOD. Croup? Sleep with an open window. Stuffy nose or sinus pain? Open a window or walk in the cold. Headache? Fresh air. Avoid getting sick? Fresh air. I'm sure you can all think of some too...
   4. She may as well learn to make her own decisions now, I won't be there all the time in higher grades, she has to learn to prepare herself for outside.
I guess maybe I need to stop worrying about other mommies and do things my own way, I have a strong and smart child, but we both make mistakes and I'm done feeling so bad about each of them.
