Ever notice how when you put something away, by the time you turn around two more things have jumped onto the floor? Or how when you're cleaning you find things you don't remember bringing home? I hope it happens to everyone, or I've a bigger problem then I thought!
I wish I knew where all the little tiny toys come from. I can tell you where that huge bear te size of a grade one child came from, who bought it and when, but that tiny little chipmunk or the doll as tall as my thumb, those I don't recognize. I think they must be the love child of said large bear and a small doll...or at the very least formed off the page of a book. It's just not possible for so many things to sneak in.
Unless of course these items are brought in the purses and pockets of friends and left on my floor to confuse and annoy me. It seems like something my friends might do. It doesn't account for the multiplying stack of art projects and crafts. I am in control of all craft supplies so I should know what gets made, and I empty the back pack after school, but there's so much I don't remember ever having seen before!
Then there's the clothes that appear in the laundry, but you didn't buy them, and there hasn't been any gift giving holidays... Do they sneak in through open windows? Perhaps there is an underground passage between dryers in neighborhood houses, also explaining where the clothes you just can't find end up, they must crawl through and end up at your neighbors house.
I guess I can't really explain how the clutter multiplies, but if I have a theory maybe I can slow it down a bit :)
