Well then I guess it's a good thing that SuperMom that I am I put the shoes on the shoe rack (now who would look there?), not only put the backpack next to the door but packed it too, and bought all the best snack foods.
Does the world see these as the acts of a superhero? Probably not. But to a child these are the things that really matter. I love that a common sentence in my house is "mommy knows everything" which I'm going to enjoy all the way until it changes to mom knows nothing. Not only do I know everything, I know where everything is even when I'm not the one who put it there. I can't say I know why, but it's part of the job so I try to keep track of things.
