Day Planner

I don't now about you, but my dayplanner is likely to explode soon. The amount of info and pieces of paper I cram into it is ridiculous, and I can't seem to find one that holds everything I want but isn't huge. I've decided to make a solution. I have created my OWN day planner, and am hoping to have them available for purchase this week.
I've decided that there is two ways for this to work well for me. I am creating some that have cloth covers to allow personalization and because I want to, my other choice is to create them with the necessary holes to include them into a previously purchased cover. I have 3 binder-like covers now because it ends up being cheaper to buy a new one then to purchase refills, and I'm hoping that one of them will be perfect.  Don't worry, I have great ideas for what to do with the old covers!!
Along with this I will have a few other organizational tools that I hope people will find as useful as I do. The thought of planning for a new school year has me getting ready for a whole new set of organizational and planning needs, and I am going to meet that challange head on! If you are interested in the Super?Mom planner or other items feel free to send an email or leave a comment and you will be among the first to know about them and will be offered first chance to order!

I have divised a list of things that a typical mommy has to track, and I've built around that. It's so hard to find room for everything! I have space for: work contacts, personal contacts, kids contacts, kids activities, birthdays and events, work schedule, children schedules, meal planning, and shopping lists. Have I missed anything?? Let me know!
My own planner currently has different colours for the different members of my household, as well as work vs personal. It works well for the days and weeks, but contacts is much more difficult. I'm working on a solution for that :) I also use highlighters to colour block my days, it makes a huge difference when planning, I can tell when I'm busy or someone else is busy, without reading through everything. It also reminds me to make time for myself and makes it much easier to do so, once it's written down I'm more likely to actually follow through. Here's hoping my systems work! I've forgotton or double booked a lot this year, I'm hoping to put a stop to that.

Share your planning needs, and let's see if we can solve all our planning problems!
